Emtek Square Single Cylinder Deadbolt

The Emtek Square single cylinder deadbolt provides keyed auxiliary security with selectable exterior trim finishes. Use it for new door prep, replacement deadbolt projects, or coordinating with an existing Emtek hardware set.

Keying Options

Single Cylinder Deadbolt – Keyed Different (8469 KD): each lock uses its own unique key. The deadbolt locks and unlocks from the outside by key and from the inside by thumb turn.

Single Cylinder Deadbolt – Keyed Alike (8469 KA): multiple locks in the same keyed-alike set can be operated by the same key. The deadbolt locks and unlocks from the outside by key and from the inside by thumb turn.

Ordering Notes

Before ordering, confirm whether the opening needs single-cylinder, double-cylinder, or single-sided deadbolt operation. For keyed locks, choose Keyed Different when each lock should use its own key, or Keyed Alike when multiple locks should operate from the same key. Confirm 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset and standard 2-1/8" door prep before drilling.
