Started with a simple question: why is buying door hardware this hard?
Founded in 2019 and based in Miami, Door Hardware Depot grew out of a frustration shared by homeowners, contractors, and designers alike — finding quality hardware meant navigating confusing spec sheets, inconsistent imagery, and retailers who couldn’t tell a passage function from a privacy function.
We built DHD to be the opposite. A curated catalogue of manufacturers we trust, with real product knowledge behind every listing. Not a warehouse that ships boxes — a hardware partner that understands what goes on the door and why.

Every product earns its place.
We don’t carry filler. Every brand in our catalogue — from Emtek’s residential range to Adams Rite’s commercial grade — was selected because we’d specify it ourselves. We verify images, audit finishes, and match products to real-world openings.
When you ask us a question, you get someone who knows what a 2-3/4″ backset means, which multipoint system fits a Marvin door, and why your commercial project needs a storeroom function instead of a classroom function.
Four commitments. No exceptions.
These aren’t marketing copy. They’re the rules we built the business around.
Verified Inventory
Every image, every spec, every finish confirmed against manufacturer data. No pattern-guessed imagery. No placeholder SKUs.
MAP-Protected Pricing
We honor manufacturer pricing policies. You get the real price — no inflated MSRPs, no fake discounts, no bait-and-switch.
Actual Expertise
We know the difference between functions, the difference between finishes, and the difference between “looks right” and “is right.”
One-Day Response
Every quote request, every product question, every spec inquiry answered within one business day. Most within hours.
We’re builders who sell hardware, not salespeople who read spec sheets.
DHD started as a family operation and still runs like one. We’re small by choice — small enough to know every product we carry, every brand we partner with, and every project that crosses our desk. We don’t have a call center. When you reach us, you’re talking to someone who actually cares whether that lever fits your door.
If we don’t carry what you need, we’ll tell you where to find it. If a product isn’t right for your opening, we’ll say so before you buy it. That’s not a policy — it’s how we’d want to be treated on the other side of the counter.
